The 20 Dollars 2012 banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji as part of the polymer series of modern Fijian currency.
The obverse features a portrait of Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna (1888–1958), a respected Fijian chief, soldier, and statesman, recognized for his contributions to Fiji’s governance and social development.
The reverse depicts Fijian flora and fauna, including tropical plants and marine life, reflecting the nation’s biodiversity and natural beauty.
The note is printed on polymer, including a transparent window, watermark of Ratu Sukuna, and other security features.
