The note has a solid security strip that can be read under backlight. It has “$50 BCRA” repeated on it:
On the reverse there are two pink iridescent ink patches showing flowers and “50” printed three times:
UV activity differs under UVA (365nm) and UVC (254nm).
At 365nm the large L and the upper bird on the obverse do not fluoresce. On the reverse, the left serial number does not fluoresce:
At 254nm the large L and the upper bird on the obverse fluoresce bright green. Also you can now see “BANCO CENTRAL DE LA RUPUBLICA ARGENTINA” on the middle right of the obverse. On the reverse, the left serial number fluoresces red:
