The 10 Manat banknote issued in 1993 (undated) by the National Bank of Azerbaijan marks the country’s early currency series following independence from the Soviet Union. Measuring 126 × 63 mm, it features the iconic Maiden Tower ruins from Baku and the Shirvanshahs Palace Mosque on the front, with traditional columns and floral patterns on the reverse. Printed on paper by De La Rue (formerly Bank of France), it includes a watermark of three flames, a solid security thread, and vivid green to blue-green coloration—hallmarks of Azerbaijan’s second manat era (1992–2006).
