The 10 Taka banknote issued in 2022 by the Bangladesh Bank continues the country’s tradition of honoring its national identity through currency. The obverse features Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation, with updated printing techniques and enhanced color vibrancy. The reverse depicts the National Martyrs’ Memorial (Jatiyo Sriti Shoudho), commemorating the sacrifice of those who gave their lives during the 1971 Liberation War. This modern issue includes refined design elements and is part of the ongoing effort to modernize the look and feel of Bangladeshi currency while preserving core national symbols.
