The 5 Rubles banknote was issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus in 2000 as part of the “second ruble” series, where 1 new ruble replaced 1,000 old rubles. The obverse features an image of the Trinity suburb (Troitskoye Predmestye) in Minsk, showcasing its historic architecture. The reverse side displays an ornate rossette centered around the denomination “5”, surrounded by detailed guilloché patterns.
The note is printed on durable cotton paper and includes a hexagonal-pattern watermark for security but does not have a security thread. Its dimensions are 110 x 60 mm. This banknote was demonetized on 30 June 2005, making it a collectible item today.
