Issued in 2015 by the National Bank of Cambodia, this 10000 Riels banknote represents one of the highest denominations in the modern Cambodian currency series. The obverse features a distinguished portrait of King Norodom Sihanouk, framed by Khmer script inscriptions and traditional decorative elements, including the national symbol of Angkor Wat.

The reverse displays the Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the Thai–Cambodian border. This temple is a symbol of Cambodia’s architectural grandeur and spiritual heritage. The note is printed on cotton-based paper and is equipped with modern security features such as a windowed security thread, watermark, microtext, and intaglio printing for tactile verification.
