Issued in 2012 by the National Bank of Cambodia, this 100,000 Riels banknote commemorates the 60th birthday of King Norodom Sihamoni. It belongs to the commemorative series celebrating the Cambodian royal family.

The obverse shows portraits of King Father Norodom Sihanouk and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath, along with the Royal Arms of Cambodia and a naga (mythical serpent) head symbolizing protection and prosperity.

The reverse features a family portrait of King Father Norodom Sihanouk, Queen Mother Norodom Monineath, and King Norodom Sihamoni, alongside an ancient stone sculpture.

Security features include a watermark of King Norodom Sihanouk and a floral design, a solid security thread with the denomination “100000” in demetalized print, UV-reactive fibers, and UV-visible serial numbers.
