The 25 Dinara 1991 banknote was issued by the National Bank of Croatia during the country’s early independence period, serving as transitional currency prior to the introduction of the kuna.
The obverse features Ružer Bošković (1711–1787), the famous Croatian scientist and philosopher, framed with detailed guilloche patterns and inscriptions.
The reverse depicts the Zagreb Cathedral, representing Croatia’s cultural and religious heritage.
The banknote was printed on paper and includes a watermark and embedded fibers as security measures.
