The 200 Pesos 2022 banknote was issued by the Banco Central de Cuba as part of the modern series highlighting Cuba’s revolutionary heroes and national heritage.
The obverse features a portrait of Camilo Cienfuegos (1932–1959), a key leader of the Cuban Revolution, with decorative guilloché patterns and the denomination in numerals and words.
The reverse depicts the National Capitol Building (Capitolio) in Havana, symbolizing Cuba’s architectural and historical legacy, complemented by national motifs and ornamental designs.
Printed on cotton-based paper, the note includes a Camilo Cienfuegos watermark, security thread, and microprinting to prevent counterfeiting.
