Comments
On 1 January 2016, all old banknotes of the Eritrean Nakfa dated before 24.05.2015 (with the exception of the 100 Nakfa note dated 24.5.2011) have been demonetized and only have collector value. The old banknotes were redeemable into a bank within the first six weeks of demonetization.
