The obverse depicts Shota Rustaveli, the celebrated Georgian poet and philosopher, with ornamental elements inspired by his literary masterpiece The Knight in the Panther’s Skin.
The reverse shows the Tbilisi Zakaria Paliashvili Opera and Ballet Theatre, a symbol of Georgia’s cultural and architectural heritage.
Security features include a transparent window with Rustaveli’s portrait, a holographic stripe, watermark, tactile elements for the visually impaired, and microprinting.
