El curioso billete de 50 peniques 2018 de Gibraltar es una de las emisiones conmemorativas más singulares, ya que representa una denominación normalmente utilizada en monedas, trasladada a un billete de polímero. Fue emitido por el Gobierno de Gibraltar para coleccionistas y circulación limitada.
El anverso muestra el retrato de la Reina Isabel II hacia la derecha, junto con los escudos y emblemas de Gibraltar, además de las características ventanas transparentes de seguridad del polímero.
El reverso está dedicado a la flora y fauna de Gibraltar, con motivos estilizados en tonos azules y violetas.
