Guinea 10,000 Francs 2012

Issued by the Banque Centrale de la République de Guinée in 2012, this 10,000 Francs banknote is one of the highest denominations of the Guinean Franc (GNF), introduced to meet the needs of a growing cash-based economy.

The obverse features a portrait of a Guinean woman in traditional attire, representing cultural identity and the role of women in Guinean society. It is enhanced with guilloche patterns, denomination numerals, and modern security features.

The reverse illustrates industrial and economic motifs, reflecting Guinea’s natural resources and its focus on national development, surrounded by ornamental elements and repeated denomination designs.
