The Morocco 100 Dirhams 2023 (2024) banknote (Pick 81) was introduced by Bank Al-Maghrib on 24 November 2023, entering circulation during 2024 as part of Morocco’s new family of banknotes and coins. Designed and printed entirely in Morocco by Dar As-Sikkah, it showcases the country’s cultural identity, the development of the Moroccan Sahara and its connection with Africa.
Presented in UNC (Uncirculated) condition, it is one of Morocco’s newest circulating banknotes and an excellent addition to collections of modern world currency.
Historical Background
The new 100 Dirhams denomination forms part of a completely renewed series issued by Bank Al-Maghrib in 2023. The design highlights the Kingdom’s architectural heritage, national infrastructure and cultural traditions while incorporating some of the most advanced security features ever used on a Moroccan banknote. The entire production process was carried out domestically by Dar As-Sikkah, reflecting Morocco’s growing expertise in security printing.
