Namibia 200 Dollars Hendrik Witbooi 2026 Pick 24b UNC Banknote
The Namibia 200 Dollars 2026 Pick 24b is the 2026 variety of the redesigned N$200 issued by the Bank of Namibia. It belongs to the country’s newest generation of circulating banknotes and retains the traditional combination of Kaptein Hendrik Witbooi and Namibian wildlife while introducing updated security technology.
The N$200 is the highest regular denomination of the Namibian Dollar and retains its distinctive purple colour scheme. The current design measures 152 × 70 mm.
Presented in UNC (Uncirculated) condition, this very recent 2026 variety is an excellent addition for collectors of new African banknote issues.
Historical Background
The Namibian Dollar was introduced in 1993, and Hendrik Witbooi has appeared on the country’s banknotes since the earliest national issues. In Namibia’s modern series, Witbooi remains on the higher N$50, N$100 and N$200 denominations.
The redesigned 200 Dollars was introduced in 2025 and is catalogued as Pick 24, with the series covering 2025–2026. The 2026 issue represents the later P-24b variety.
