The obverse features a portrait of Malietoa Tanumafili II, Samoa’s Head of State, together with traditional Samoan design elements and the national coat of arms.
The reverse shows cultural and natural motifs, highlighting Samoan heritage and landscapes. This issue is printed on paper and includes classic security features typical of the period.
