Saudi Arabia 50 Riyals 2024

The 50 Riyals banknote issued in 2024 by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) represents the latest generation of Saudi currency. This uncirculated note features a contemporary portrait of King Salman, advanced Arabic calligraphy, and new high-security elements such as an optical security thread, holographic foil, and UV-reactive ink. A modern collectible that embodies both the Kingdom’s heritage and its forward-looking innovation in currency design.

Obverse

In the center we see the Dome of the Rock (Qubbat As Sakhra), an Islamic shrine, located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem.

To the right we see the image of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, facing left.

To the left, is a watermark of King Salman, facing left.
