Turkmenistan 5 Manat Commemorative 2025 (2026) Pick 49 Polymer UNC Banknote

The Turkmenistan 5 Manat Commemorative 2025 (2026) Pick 49 banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan on 1 December 2025 as part of a special polymer series marking the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality. It preserves the familiar 5 Manat design while adding the official commemorative emblem of the International Year of Peace and Trust and enhanced security features.

Presented in UNC (Uncirculated) condition, this polymer note is one of the newest issues from Central Asia and an excellent addition to modern world banknote collections.

Historical Background

Turkmenistan was granted Permanent Neutrality by the United Nations in 1995. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this historic event, the Central Bank introduced commemorative polymer versions of the 1, 5 and 10 Manat banknotes, together with a brand-new 200 Manat denomination. These notes entered circulation on 1 December 2025 and display the official logo of the International Year of Peace and Trust.
