The 10 Dram banknote issued in November 1993 by the Central Bank of Armenia marks Armenia’s transition to its own currency following the dissolution of the Soviet ruble zone. Printed on high-quality cotton paper by Giesecke & Devrient, it depicts the Yerevan railway station and the Statue of David of Sasoun on the obverse, with Mount Ararat featured on the reverse. Measuring 125 × 62 mm, it bears a watermark of the Armenian coat of arms and does not include a security thread. Although withdrawn from circulation in 2004, it remains a sought-after item for collectors of early Armenian currency
