Issued on 1 July 1992 by the National Bank of Bosnia & Herzegovina during the early stages of independence, this banknote belongs to the first “Bosnian dinar” currency series. The obverse displays ornate guilloché designs in purple on pink underprint, featuring both Cyrillic and Latin script and the coat of arms. The reverse side highlights the iconic Mostar stone arch bridge, set against matching guilloché patterns and bilingual denomination marking.
Printed on 100% cotton paper, the note includes a diamond-pattern watermark and is produced using intaglio printing. It lacks a security thread. The note measures 145 × 73 mm and has been demonetized following currency reforms.
