The 20 Piso 2008 banknote was issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as part of the New Design Series.
The obverse features a portrait of Manuel L. Quezon (1878–1944), the first President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines. It also includes the seal of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the Quezon Memorial Shrine, and bilingual inscriptions in Filipino and English.
The reverse shows the image of the Malacañang Palace, official residence of the President of the Philippines, accompanied by the presidential seal and an image of the Batasang Pambansa (Legislative Building).
Printed on paper with a security thread and a watermark of Manuel L. Quezon.
