The Libya 5 Dinars 2011 banknote (Pick 77) was issued by the Central Bank of Libya during the country’s political transition in 2011. It belongs to the final series of traditional paper banknotes before Libya later introduced redesigned issues in 2015 and polymer banknotes in 2021.

Historical Background
Issued shortly after the events of 2011, this banknote formed part of the first currency series released under the State of Libya. It remained in circulation until 30 September 2025, when it was officially demonetized as newer issues progressively replaced the earlier designs.
